For Swiss aviation players, Ebace remains a major event

 

The Ebace show (European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition) opened its doors to the public on Tuesday in Geneva. Hosted at Palexpo, the 2024 edition is marked by a number of exhibitors
reduced by a third compared to last year – 262 compared to more than 400 – and the absence of two major international manufacturers: the Canadian Bombardier and the American Gulfstream. The latter expressed their rejection of the prices charged by the organizers: the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and its European branch EBAA

New business models Created a year ago in Payerne (VD), the aviation company SKY2SHARE aims to offer a new model for business travel starting this year: co-owned air mobility dedicated solely to businesses. The company in the scale-up phase is aiming to enter the market with six customers and two or three aircraft to start, explains its founder and CEO, Selim Franko.
